The average turnout period for a couple to head towards divorce after marriage is nearly 70 percent. Marriage is a traditional process and more or less it is a norm. Every youngster who is above the age of 21 can get married legally, and they all know that at some point they have to get married. Even couples who live in together eventually decide to get married. It is a norm set by the society. However, divorce is not the norm and it is actually more widespread. Couples get divorced for the silliest of reasons and also marriage counseling does not seem to help much.

The latest statistics released by the marriage, death and birth statistics show that the marriage and divorce rate are almost equal in the United States. This basically means for every couple that is getting married, another couple is getting divorced.
