Remember, a bridal shower is also an all girls' party and it is probably the last time the bride is going to do something like this. So, naturally it has to be a relaxed and fun event for the bride and others who are attending it. Having a bridal shower two or three weeks prior to the wedding is an ideal thing to do.
The bridal shower is typically held by the maid of honor and it is best to discuss the events with the maid of honor in advance. Usually the venue is always someone house because it is small group of women who are going to be attending it.
However, bridal showers are also held at spas and health clubs these days. Some people may even go to Las Vegas and have a full fledged event.
